We'd like to invite you for this month's Shabbat Experience - Friday Night Community Dinner!

While every Shabbat dinner spent with our community is special, this month's Friday night dinner is extra special: we are celebrating our dear daughter, Leba's 3rd birthday!

At the age of three, Jewish girls begin to light their very own Shabbat candles, beginning to perform the sacred, age old Mitzvah and tradition which they will continue to perform throughout their lives!

Please join us to celebrate this special occasion, Friday, December 6th at 4:00PM, at Chabad of the Crescenta Valley: 929 Descanso Drive, La Canada Flintridge CA 91011

Please Note: Shabbat comes in quite early (candle lighting is at 4:25PM), wo we will be beginning the program at 4:00PM sharp :).

In addition to the weekly study of Jewish prayer, and Hebrew reading and writing, Chabad Hebrew School will be studying fundamentals in Judaism, Jewish practice, and about the Jewish Holidays!

Chabad Hebrew School believes these lessons give children the foundations needed for leading a Jewish life.

Hebrew School is for children age K-7th Grade.

The Menorah Making Workshop at ACE Hardware is BACK!

Get ready to get your hands dirty, putting them to work: building, designing, and painting your very own menorah!

With some brand new Menorah designs for you to choose from, this event is a must for all children, young and old, to have fun building ther very own menorahs, all while learning about the holiday of Chanukah!

This event is completely free of charge. Light Chanukah refreshments will be served.

The Menorah Making Workshop will be taking place at ACE Hardware in La Crescenta: 
3100 Foothill Blvd, La Crescenta-Montrose, CA 91214, on December 15th at 2PM.

The Chevra is getting back together again!

This month we are kicking it back and joining together for a men's event celebrating the holiday of Chanukah, as well as Rabbi Mendy's birthday!

You can expect the usual Chevra staples: whiskey, meat, cigars, and more, in addition to the Chanukah delicacies like delicious home made latkas, and some tasty donuts!

Instead of blowing out the candles, Rabbi Mendy will be lighting the candles of the Chanukiah, followed by the melodious traditional Chanukah songs.

This event is taking place Thursday, December 26th, 8:00PM at Chabad of the Crescenta Valley: 929 Descanso Drive, La Canada-Flintridge, CA 91011. 

This event is free, donations welcome!

The Chanukah Festival at Memorial Park is BACK!

Join us for The Chanukah Festival 2024, and experience the warmth and the joy of the Jewish holiday of Chanukah, together with hundreds of Jews from our community.

This year's event features a fabulous show by world renowned ventriloquist, Chuck Field, the always popular Chanukah crafts, a Chanukah photo booth, delicious jelly donuts, latkas, chocolate gelt, and much more!

There is no greater feeling of Jewish togetherness than the experience of kindling the menorah, and singing the age old chanukah melodies, together with so many of our Jewish brothers and sisters.

This event is for all ages, and is completely free of charge.

The event will be taking place Sunday, December 29th, beginning at 4:00PM.
