One of the central Mitzvahs of Rosh Hashana, is getting together with our family and friends and our communities, and enjoying a holiday feast.

Rosh Hashana dinner possesses so many meaningful customs and lessons. Whether it be the round challah, the head of the fish, tzimis, pomegranates, the new fruit, and of course apples dipped in honey - there is meaning and depth to almost everything we do on Rosh Hashana night.

Join us for a family friendly Rosh Hashana program on the second day of Rosh Hashana, 4PM, at the La Crescenta Woman's Club!

The event will feature a range of crafts, snacks, and a fantastic show, to go along with the Shofar blowing service.

This event is great for kids, but NOT limited to families with kids! At Chabad all are included in our collective family and are more than welcome to join us for this event.

Intro to Chabad Chassidic Philosophy—a new Torah class with Mushka

We will be delving into the Tanya, the foundational text of Chabad Chassidic philosophy. The Tanya, also known as Sefer Shel Beinonim—The Book of the Everyman, is a profound work that combines Kabbalistic wisdom with practical guidance for daily life. It offers advice on how to cultivate self-discipline, develop emotional resilience, and find peace in knowing that internal struggle is a meaningful part of our spiritual journey.

Tuesday evenings, 7:30-8:30 PM on Zoom.
