The Chevra is getting back together again!

Join us for another men’s event, Monday, May 4th, at 8:00PM, featuring all of the Chevra staples: smoked meat, whiskey, and cigars, as well as a special Lag Ba’Omer spread and bonfire.

Lag BaOmer, the 33rd day of the Omer count, is a festive day on the Jewish calendar that honors Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, author of the Zohar, who passed away on this day.

The chassidic masters explain that the final day of a righteous person’s earthly life marks the point at which all their deeds, teachings and work achieve their culminating perfection and the zenith of their impact upon our lives. 🍦Celebrate Shavuot With Chabad!🍰

On Shavuot we commemorate the giving of the Torah that took place 3,338 years ago. It was on that day that we entered into a covenant with G-d to be his people, and that he be our G-d.

Join us as we celebrate this important day with the reading of the Ten Commandments from the Torah, and enjoy a festive dairy dinner buffet, with plenty of delicious cheesecakes, blintzes, pastas, and ice cream to go around!

There will be a special children’s program during the Torah reading.

This event will be taking place Friday, May 22nd, 5:00PM at Chabad of the Crescenta Valley:
