The Barbara Rosenthal CGI CV Scholarship Fund

With tremendous gratitude to Barbara, Peter, and the entire Rosenthal Family,
we are excited to present:

The Barbara Rosenthal CGI CV Scholarship Fund!

This fund will provide funding for Jewish campers who would like to attend Camp Gan Israel but are not in a position financially to be able to do so.

We thank Barbara and the Rosenthal family for funding this important innitiative—giving children the gift of a summer for years to come.

About Barbara

A beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, Barbara leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will never be forgotten by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Barbara was a woman of many interests and talents. She was a gifted artist and had a lifelong passion for tennis, theater, opera, travel, and also had a surprising "need for speed" for such a modest and gentle soul. For instance, she once drove a Nascar racecar on a local track as well as supporting a still flying B24 bomber with Peter. Although not a pilot, she was once given the controls of a T6 Trainer and P51 Mustang where she "rolled" the T6 and "rolled" and "looped" the P51. She loved every second of these experiences.

Additionally, Barbara was a true animal lover, caring for her dogs, horses, birds, fish among other animals. She was also admired for her professionalism as the CFO of V.I.P. Trust Deed Company where she worked alongside her husband up until her passing. Her unwavering dedication and hard work were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Family was the center of Barbara's life. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, always there for the family with a keen interest in their development over the years. She and Peter also recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary and were still madly in love right up to the very end.

In addition to her devotion to her family, Barbara was a cherished friend to many. Her inspiring generosity, kindness, compassion, and sincere interest in others endeared her to all who had the honor of crossing her path. She had a way of making everyone feel truly valued and loved. Those who were blessed to know her know they had been touched by an angel.

Barbara is survived by her loving family including her husband, Peter; her children, Diana (Peter) Hutton, Robert (Jodi) Rosenthal; and her three grandchildren, Callum, Ben, and Emma. Barbara is also survived by her sister, Angela, nieces and nephews.

May the merit of charity—Tzedaka bring blessings and success to the entire Rosenthal family

To Barbara and Peter, L'chaim!
